Over the last 5 days, agencies terminated and descoped 55 wasteful contracts with a ceiling value of $863M and savings of $261M, including a $1.6M HUD support management contract to “provide coherent, accurate, comprehensive, timely and current digital news”, and a $4.5M HHS consulting contract for the “coordination of quality and public reporting programs and websites”.
December 25: Naughty List Trims

DOGE requoted their earlier post on school COVID funds waste ($200B with gems like $393K MLB stadium rental, $86K Vegas hotel, $60K pool passes, ice cream truck—all undocumented) and the new receipt rule for remaining $4B.
Added: “A simple “Defend the Spend” method which would help in reducing fraud is to require a description, receipt, and picture before funds are disbursed.”
