This is your source for understanding Elon Musk's DOGE through the lens of logical thought.

HIGHLIGHTS OF DOGE: WEEK 19 and 20

You may not be sold on DOGE’s work. Weeks 19 and 20 show real savings—billions for taxpayers, fraud stopped. Check the facts below.

Cutting Excess

DOD had become “overreliant on management consultants and contractors,” and they have strategically canceled ~$5 BILLION in contracts, “converting consultants into combat power.”

Contracts Cut

In three days, agencies ended 160 contracts. They were wasteful, valued at $283 million. Savings reached $145 million. One, a $67,000 Treasury deal for “executive coaching” of high-potential managers, died quietly.

Cards Culled

Thirteen weeks passed. Across 32 agencies, 523,000 credit cards went dark. Unused, potential for fraud, and unneeded. Once, 4.6 million cards were live. The audit grows, reaching more agencies. Work remains for DOGE.

Dollars Saved

The President guards taxpayer money. Unlike before, he acts for the people. Today, 24 reckless awards die. Three billion saved.

Licenses Cut

Agencies hold excess software licenses, often idle. Audits, started February, kill waste.

  • IRS: 3,000 Visio licenses, used 25, cut 2,975.
  • DOL: Slashed 68% of unused project planning licenses.
  • SEC: Used 22% of remote desktop software, cut 78%. Three changes saved five million dollars yearly.

Websites Axed

The government runs 6,500 websites. Many are dead, unseen. Ten percent had under ten views last month. Each costs taxpayers $100,000 to $6 million yearly. Audits show 20% can go. Five deleted so far, saving $1 million a year. One,

recycling.gsa.gov

, shared recycling revenue by occupancy. A spreadsheet replaced it, saving $120,000 yearly. Updates monthly.

Waste Slashed

Elon Musk and DOGE team cut $170 billion in waste. That’s $1,056 per taxpayer. They hunt fraud, abuse, and modernize government. The work goes on.

Contracts Ended

On Friday, May 30, agencies cut 44 contracts.

Ceiling value: $1.4 billion. Savings: $292 million. One, a $20,000 DHS “Speed of Trust” leadership program, run by consultants, is gone.

Contracts Cut

Two days, 61 contracts gone. Ceiling: $428 million. Saved: $255 million. One, a $71,300 HHS deal for media training for twelve people to charm the press, was axed.

Retirement Simplified

On June 2, digital retirement began at Retire.opm.gov

OPM and DOGE worked together. By late July, retirees will get first benefit payments faster, not months later. Update in July.

Bureaucracy’s Trick

A claim: two GSA workers took Musk’s retirement bonus, then returned as contractors, same jobs. DOGE and GSA checked—company says it’s false. DOGE now probes workforce data to spot this pattern. Bureaucracy may be rehiring quietly. Trump must stay alert.

Fraud Stopped

Education and DOGE fight student aid fraud, costing $1 billion yearly, robbing low-income students. Education gives $120 billion in grants and loans. Criminals steal SSNs, enroll online, take Pell Grants, fake attendance with chatbots, steal funds, disappear. One in five online community college enrollments is fake. Starting next week, Education requires identity checks for new aid recipients. DOGE and Education develop tech to end this by next year’s loan season.

Cards Deactivated

Fourteen weeks in, 55 agencies audited. Unused credit cards, 610,000, gone. Started with 4.6 million active cards. Still, work remains for DOGE.

Lines Cut

GSA slashed 1,700 unused phone plans, switched others, cut 2,218 idle cellular payments. Saved $800,000 yearly. SBA dropped 6,505 VOIP licenses, from 9,195 to 2,690. Saved $469,000 yearly. Agency by agency, DOGE hunts IT waste. More to come!

DOGE Diaries

The fight goes on, and the DOGE team keeps working very hard. Waste is cleverly hidden in contracts, cards, and between the lines. As a taxpayer, I want to see US Agencies make working smart and lean the norm.

What is DOGE?

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, has achieved remarkable results by saving $160 billion through canceling inefficient contracts and selling assets, thereby optimizing taxpayer funds. It introduced innovative tech perspectives to drive government reform. DOGE promoted transparency via public access to unclassified records, while slashing bureaucracy for streamlined operations. Ultimately, it delivered voter-mandated reforms that boosted overall efficiency.
