Last week, in Week 15, DOGE stopped voter fraud, ended healthcare scams, and saved billions in borrowing. Now, we’re in Week 16, from May 5 to May 11, 2025 (Days 106 to 112), and DOGE is doing even more beautiful things.
Day 106: DOGE Saves Billions with General Services Administration and Cuts Waste
DOGE kicked off Week 16 with some huge savings—let’s check out what they did on May 5!
General Services Administration (GSA) Slashes $30 BILLION with DOGE’s Help On Day 106, GSA’s Stephen Ehikian (@USGSAStephenE) shared an awesome update, reposted by the DOGE account (@usgsastephene) The GSA cut $30 BILLION in contracts, made buying stuff simpler, updated tech, helped with 5 Presidential orders, and stopped ideological bias. DOGE helped make our government smarter and better—amazing!
DOGE Stops $198M in Wasteful Contracts Later that day, DOGE shared a super cool update. They cut 148 wasteful contracts, saving $198 million! One silly contract was $143K to test confiscated marijuana—DOGE said, “No way!” That’s our tax dollars saved!

Day 107: DOGE Cuts More Waste and Stops Voter Fraud
On May 6, DOGE kept up the great work with more savings and a big win for fair elections!
United States Department of Labor (USDOL) Saves $8.4 MILLION by Ending Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Grants On Day 107, DOGE gave a shoutout to the USDOL. They canceled $13.6 MILLION in DEI grants, saving $8.4 MILLION! This included $716K for DEI stuff and $398K for gender equity training—DOGE said, “We don’t need that!” And we don’t.
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and DOGE Help Texas Catch Voter Fraud I shared my excitement here on X about DOGE’s latest win!
We are all grateful to the USCIS for giving states free access to the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database to check voters—such a great tool! DOGE said Texas (@TXsecofstate ) found voter fraud cases with it, and the Texas Secretary of State thanked the Department of Homeland Security (DHSgov) for helping keep voter rolls clean. DOGE is making elections fairer—yay!
Day 108: DOGE Cancels a Wasteful Social Justice Grant and Cuts More Waste
On May 7, DOGE teamed up with Florida, slashed more contracts, and made a big move with credit cards—three awesome wins!
National Science Foundation (NSF) Saves $800K by Ending Social Justice Grant On Day 108, DOGE thanked @DOGEFla (Yes, Florida has its own DOGE) for spotting a wasteful grant. Florida DOGE found an $800K grant at the University of West Florida to train teachers in “social justice”—DOGE said, “No way!” The NSF canceled it, saving our money—awesome job!
DOGE Cuts Over 500K Credit Cards On Day 108, DOGE shared a great update.
DOGE cut over 500,000 government credit cards across 32 agencies, with more to come—DOGE is saving us so much money!
DOGE Saves $110M by Ending More Contracts Also on Day 108, DOGE announced another win! They saved $110 MILLION by cutting 522 wasteful contracts, including a $181K climate advisor job in Africa—smart move!
Day 109: DOGE Saves $935 MILLION with the Energy Department
On May 8, DOGE shared an amazing article showing a huge new savings—another big win!
To summarize the article, DOGE got the DOE to save $935 MILLION a year by capping extra costs in grants for states, non-profits, and companies. This follows a $405 MILLION savings from university grants—DOGE is making sure our money goes to energy projects, as it is the Dept of ENERGY. It’s a huge win for all of us.
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, has achieved remarkable results by saving $160 billion through canceling inefficient contracts and selling assets, thereby optimizing taxpayer funds. It introduced innovative tech perspectives to drive government reform. DOGE promoted transparency via public access to unclassified records, while slashing bureaucracy for streamlined operations.
